Handicrafts Made from Yarn and Fabric

This experience combines sports, heritage, and crafts to introduce you to one of Mallorca’s most unique traditions. It begins on the coast of Pollensa, from where we’ll ride electric bikes to the town’s historic center to explore the wonderful network of streets, squares, and hills in this town in the north of the island. Next, we’ll visit the Teixits Vicens factory, one of the leading names in Mallorcan textile craftsmanship. There, we’ll get an up-close look at the work that goes into their fabrics, the process of making the traditional Mallorcan “tela de llengua” (ikat), and the history of a family-run business that has kept its craft alive for generations. At the end of the tour, we’ll enjoy a delicious tasting of Mallorcan products before returning to the starting point on electric bikes.
